The Sri Lanka India Society successfully hosted the ‘Janaranjana Mela Bazaar’ at the BMICH Sapphire Banquet Hall. This vibrant exhibition celebrated art, culture, and heritage, featuring a diverse range of traditional and contemporary items, including temple jewellery, batik fabrics, handcrafted accessories, and Bollywood wear. The event was graced by Chief Guest Hon. Wasantha Samarasinghe, Minister of Trade, and Guest of Honour His Excellency Santosh Jha, High Commissioner of India. Visitors enjoyed a lively marketplace that showcased the rich traditions of both nations, fostering cultural exchange and unity. The event, with free admission, was a true celebration of diversity.
