Women’s Chamber Community Services during the Pandemic

Under the leadership and direction of their Chairperson, Mrs. Indrani Fernando, the Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce launched its support program for the Covid-19 impacted daily wage earners. Essential packs were organized via contributions and donations from members of the chamber and distributed in the Horana area and to the fisher folks in Munnakkara, Negombo. Distribution of these essential packs in the Horana area was coordinated with the Dhammashanthi Piriwena, Horana, while the distribution in Negombo was coordinated with the Parish Priest of St. Nicholas Church.
