96th Republic Day of Turkey

Republic Day is celebrated in all provinces of Turkey and the country’s representations abroad. The celebration in Sri Lanka was organized by the Embassy of Turkey in Colombo. The Republic of Turkey has currently turned into an important power in its region and beyond. Sri Lanka and the Republic of Turkey continue to exist in strong partnership amidst longstanding relationships. The Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey Tunca Özçuhadar and many other distinguished invitees graced the event. The reception was held at the Grand Ballroom, Galle Face Hotel.
