Alzheimer’s is the most common type of dementia. Due to the lack of awareness of the disease, it is passed on out of ignorance and neglect. Therefore awareness of dementia is a necessity. According to Lorraine Yu this programme creates greater awareness and facilitates friendly communities to those who are suffering from dementia. Improvement of quality of life of those suffering from dementia is one main aim of the programme.
