How can anxiety impact physical health, and what are some ways to address these physical symptoms?

Having moderate to acute anxiety can cause stress on the physical body, and these symptoms can vary from person to person. One of the very common physical symptoms that anxiety causes is an increased heart rate and breathing. This is also known as hyperventilation. If this intensifies, one can experience dizziness or even a panic attack. Headaches and stomach churning are also common symptoms. Diarrhea and constipation are known to be physical symptoms of anxiety. Disturbed sleep patterns, like insomnia, can also be experienced by many. To bring these symptoms under control, physical exercises, a healthy diet, meditation with mindful practices, reducing caffeine and alcohol intake, together with a healthy sleep routine, can help.
