It was Martha’s neighbour. “Come quick.  Your son is lying on the railway line and is trying to kill himself” said Shanti. Martha rushed out of the house and went to the railway line.  Fortunately she was bigger than her son and she managed to pull him off the line even as the train appeared at a distance.Her son Palitha tried to pull himself away from her but she was stronger and she dragged him home.
