Important skin care tips for the Bride to be

26 June 2024 07:13 am

Begin a consistent skincare routine several months before your wedding. This will allow time for your skin to adjust and improve. Starting early is the key. If you have any dermatological conditions like acne, eczema or any other skin issue, do not hesitate to visit a dermatologist or a skin clinic in any government hospital. Get treatment early, so that by the time of your wedding, these conditions can be controlled successfully.

Hydration of your skin is very important. Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated from within. Dry skin will not give that glow you want.  Aim to drink at least 2- 2.5 liters of water (8 glasses) a day.
Healthy diet – always eat a healthy balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables and leafy greens. Vitamins and minerals as well as antioxidants will nourish your skin from inside out. Avoid crash diets in order to lose weight. Avoid sugary foods, processed meats and preservatives.
Discuss with your doctor or a dermatologist if you want to start a vitamin supplement to improve your skin texture. Although there are so many products in the market, get help to choose the best product that suits your skin.
