Could you introduce yourself to our readers?

Born and raised in Kandy, I grew up in a close-knit family, with my father working at Nestle Lanka Limited and my mother as a full-time housewife. I was the youngest in the family, with an older brother. My father is my role model who influenced my love for reading and writing, a passion that has shaped my life. I met my husband in 1997 while we were both working at Seylan Bank PLC, and we began our family in 2000. We are blessed with two children, now aged 20 and 15, who have been a tremendous support in my life. My education at Good Shepherd Convent in Kandy was foundational in shaping my character, instilling in me the strength to face challenges, a commitment to high standards, and compassion in all my endeavors. I was an all-rounder in school, excelling in drama, sports, and academics, and I have no regrets about my school days. After completing my GCE Advanced Level, I joined Seylan Bank PLC in 1995 as a Trainee Banking Assistant. My career progressed steadily, and by 2016, I had risen to the position of Senior Executive and Assistant Branch Manager. Alongside my career, I pursued higher education, earning degrees in Human Resource Management and Information Technology, a Diploma in Computer Studies, and an MBA with Merit from Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2013. In 2016, I joined Nations Trust Bank as a Branch Manager. A year later, I made a pivotal career shift to Earl’s Court Group, a decision that has been one of the best in my professional life, allowing me to explore new opportunities and grow beyond the Banking and Finance Sector.
