Can you share with our readers a bit about your personal background?
I am the mother of three beautiful children. I have an amazing husband who is the pillar of success in my life, though he would refuse to agree with me on this. However, I am who I am because of him; because he brings out the best in me. So that’s my family.
How are you related to Sarasavi Bookshop and what role do you play in the company?
Sarasavi Bookshop is a family business. The chairperson of the company is my father-in-law. My husband is the Managing Director. My mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and I are the directors of the company. Each one of us is responsible for a specific area in the business with our unique expertise. I oversee the Import Division of the company, and we hold the top position as the largest supplier of books to Sri Lanka.
