British Council Sri Lanka has been a beacon of knowledge since its inception in 1949 and has been closely affiliated with the local education system. Throughout the years it too has evolved and expanded its reach to the most remote localities offering indispensable facilities and exposure to those in need of it. The success of the organization lies in the sheer determination and ambitious vision of its employees, many of whom are women, who have earned their way to ranks of leadership and great responsibility. Out of the many progressive women at the forefront of this organization, here are the stories of four leading ladies aspiring to inspire with every move they make.
