She made a tidal wave in the scientific arena when Hasini received global recognition for her revolutionary research in 2017. Explained in layman’s terms, Hasini discovered the mechanisms that cause cancer cells to spread, and also a possible drug treatment that may slow down or even stop cancer cells from spreading. Pretty awesome stuff, and what many, not everyone, have been holding their breath for. Because this brings some much needed hope to those suffering from the terrible disease, as well as relief to their families and loved ones.
