Originating from the deep down South, kithul tapping has been a prospective industry despite the many challenges faced by those involved in it. Today kithulpani and hakuru (jaggery) have a greater demand within the country and overseas due to its Sri Lankan value and taste.Kithul as an industry has a long way to go with more manpower and innovation.  In an attempt to take this industry forward, ChanchalaGunawardena, founder of KimbulaKithul aims to do things differently.
