Kiripani(curd and treacle) has been a popular delicacy in Sri Lanka for decades. The sweetness of pure treacle coupled with curd definitely takes our taste buds on a pleasant journey. Kithulpani has always been considered a treasure due to its rare quality and price. Originating from the deep down South, kithul tapping has been a prospective industry despite the many challenges faced by those involved in it. Today kithulpani and hakuru (jaggery) have a greater demand within the country and overseas due to its Sri Lankan value and taste.Kithul as an industry has a long way to go with more manpower and innovation. In an attempt to take this industry forward, ChanchalaGunawardena, founder of KimbulaKithul aims to do things differently. This is the story of KimbulaKithul.
