A Mother is a special individual whose basic qualities does not change whether it is, the East or the West. Mothers Day is celebrated all over the world with lots of enthusiasm on different days and times around the globe, but what does not change is what she is….. All women are born with their mothering instincts intact. The role of a mother is not an easy one to define since it is  not only one role, but many roles mixed together. Personally I would think that “Mother” is the one term that is most difficult to define. A mother is special because, from the moment she becomes the mother, every woman goes through a change in her demeanor that readies her to become all mothers before her were. A mother is the Protector, Disciplinarian, Teacher, Confidante, Co-Ordinator, Friend, and the one that doles out endless amounts of unconditional love to her children. Mother is the “heart” of the home. She is the one who listens to all tales of woe ,love, disappointments, anger, hurt….the list goes on. She is the one who laughs with her children, understands their pain like her own, cries for their hurt, and the shoulder that her children cries on as well as the lap her children feels most secure.
