“I always had a creative streak in me but I never imagined that I would end up creating footwear for a living. It was a spur of the moment decision that I took to start creating footwear, and I don’t regret it at all. I love the whole process of creating something from scratch, it brings me great pleasure to see someone wear something that I have created.”

Back to the beginning

“This venture initially started off as a hobby, but it is through word of mouth that I found so many clients who were interested in my footwear. I first started selling my collection to my friends and then when there was a demand from other clients as well.”

These shoes are meant for walking

“I always let the material guide me when creating the footwear and finally the design does all the talking. The collection that I offer includes slippers and high heels. I’ve tried my hand at using hand-loom material; my customers like the feel of it because it’s comfortable. I design the footwear and get a cobbler to finalize the product according to my requirements. I have footwear for both adults and children.” “I first started by creating slippers and then ventured out to creating high heels, which have become a favorite among ladies in the corporate sector, because the heels are comfortable enough to wear at all times.” “I have few styles that I use as a framework for my designs; I can customize designs for my customers accordingly. I use waste material so my products are Eco-friendly, which is something I’m very proud of.”

Future aspirations

“As of now I’ve set my sights on developing the brand and giving my clients value for money products that they would love wearing at any given occasion.”
