Can you describe the key methods your organisation uses to evaluate employee performance?
Evaluating employee performance is essential for an organization’s success. Various methods can be employed, including regular performance appraisals that assess individual achievements against set goals, 360-degree feedback which gathers insights from peers, subordinates, and supervisors for a comprehensive evaluation, and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure specific goals. Management by Objectives (MBO) focuses on agreed targets, while self-assessments encourage employees to reflect on their performance. Continuous feedback throughout the year allows for real-time improvements, and competency assessments evaluate essential skills and future potential. Additionally, project-based reviews provide targeted feedback after specific tasks, peer reviews focus on collaboration and teamwork, and the balanced scorecard combines financial and non-financial measures to offer a broader perspective.
