Enjoy Sight Seeing In Solitude

Most times, we travel  with others. It is either with family, friends or colleagues. But, have you thought about travelling alone ? Travelling alone can be exciting, illuminating and wonderfully self-indulgent! This I have wanted to do for the longest time, but sadly, I never got the opportunity and also, it may have been because I didn’t try hard enough…Whatever the underlying reason for not doing it before, I finally managed to do it ! And , it was an exhilarating experience although it was short and sweet.

It was wonderfully self indulgent because, the agenda was mine and mine alone. I did it exactly the way I wanted to do it in my own pace. Truth be told, I was a bit apprehensive, and felt a little self-conscious, but all these negative feelings dissipated as soon as I got started and got absorbed. Based on my experience, here are a few recommendations to help you get started and interested  in planning your own “solitary vacation”:
