Make your family feel special this season…With HANDMADE Christmas cards!

Minoli Palihena is a young and talented girl with a lot of creative ideas. One of her many talents are making cute little cards. This festive season she shared some Christmas card ideas with LW. These cards are 100% Minoli Palihena creations.

Frosty the snowman

3 Things you need- white coloured board, white sequins (small), different coloured boards, black gel pen.

 How to make frosty the snow man

Step1- Cut 3 different sized circles. One for the head, other two for the body. Step 2- Draw a pair of eyes and a mouth on the smallest circle. Paste a tiny nose that looks like a carrot. Step 3- Draw 3 buttons on the middle sized circle.

 The card

Step 1- Make a card of your preferred size. Step 2- Fold a piece of cardboard and paste it in the middle. Paste the biggest circle on it. Step 3- Paste the middle sized circle on the big circle. Step 4- Fold another piece of cardboard, paste the face on it and paste it on top of the middle sized circle. Step 5- Cut frosty’s hands and the scarf. Paste it as shown in the picture. Step 6- Paste the sequins so that it’ll look like snow. Step 7- Write the greeting you prefer below frosty. Now you can share frosty’s happiness with all your loved ones.

Santa’s Hat

2 Things you need – coloured board, glitter paper, black felt pen.

 How to make Santa’s hat.

Step 1- Use a red board to cut Santa’s hat. Step 2 - Use white board to cut the fluffy parts in Santa’s hat. Paste them as shown in the picture.

 The card

Step 1- Make a card. Any size you want. Fold a piece of cardboard in the middle of the card and paste the Santa on it. Step 2- Write HO! HO! On two pieces of paper and paste it on the card as shown in the picture. Step 3- Decorate the border with glitter paper and now you can help Santa spread the love around!

The Christmas tree

1 Things you need- colour boards, glitter and glitter pens.  Step1- Cut the A4 size board in half (Depends on the size of your card) and fold it so that it looks like a card. Step 2- Get brown colour board for the tree trunk. Twist it and paste it. Step 3- Cut different sizes of coloured board and paste it as shown in the picture. Step 4- Decorate the Christmas tree. Step 5- Write the greeting you prefer below the Christmas tree and there you go a simple card to make your loved ones feel special.
