The Royal Court of King Henry VIII
My first impression of the Palace was one of wonder.
Then I felt an inexplicable gratitude and awe that I was actually here, in the Royal Palace of King Henry VIII who had been one of England’s greatest (and according to some historians, the cruelest) monarchs, who transformed England.
Not far from the city of London, just about twenty minutes by train, in the town of Hampton, rests the majestic palace and the royal courts of King Henry VIII.
Henry VIII was one of the most famous reigning kings in England’s history, reforming the English parliamentary system and ruled England from 1507 to 1547 until his death.
