Amazing travel to Thailand

11 March 2025 02:24 pm

So we are embarking on an unforgettable adventure to Thailand! The 3 of us (besties) have been planning this trip for months. We were so excited to explore the vibrant culture of Thailand, indulge in their mouthwatering cuisine, and soak up the beauty of its breathtaking landscapes. From the bustling streets of Bangkok to the serene beaches of Phuket, this journey is going to be epic! As our tour agency, we selected Overa tours.  After looking at many available packages and options online, their tour package was the best out of the lot. As our main aim was to explore, we managed to adjust our tour according to our requirements. Our flight was uneventful. We landed early morning in Bangkok and then flew to Phuket. We were taken to our hotel – Ashlee Plaza in Phuket by a pre-arranged comfortable vehicle. Although the driver didn’t speak English, he was so friendly and used the translate app to communicate with us. We were so eager to explore this beautiful country which has long captured the hearts of many travelers. The welcoming spirit of the hotel receptionist was immeasurable and we even got an early check in free of charge. This is not just a trip for the 3 of us, it’s an opportunity to uncover the magic of Thailand.

Siam Niramit show

We were picked up in the evening to go for the Siam Niramit show which took approximately 1 hour to reach, because of the heavy traffic. The Siam Niramit Show is one of Thailand’s most spectacular cultural performances. It offers a mesmerizing journey through the country’s rich history and heritage. I have never watched such an amazing performance. We could learn Thailand’s traditions, myths, and festivals through stunning visuals, elaborate costumes, and dazzling stage effects. Siam Niramit show is set in a grand theater, although we went on a weekday, the theater was almost full with tourists. We learnt that the show mainly consisted of 3 acts which included the Kingdom of Siam, the Journey Beyond (especially focusing on Thai beliefs about the afterlife), and Joyous Festivals, which highlight the country’s vibrant celebrations. It’s a must-see for visitors wanting to dive deep into Thai culture and history. I was glad that we could experience such an amazing performance. I was also wondering why we cannot start a world class performance like that in our country as we also have a rich history and culture. It was such an attraction.  We also enjoyed the pre-show attractions, which included a visit to a traditional Thai village and elephant feeding. It was quite late when we returned to the hotel.
